Stylist and make-up artist, Karen Skolski, can’t help but smile when she talks about finding her dream job at the Haruo Noro Salon. "Watching him work is just so motivating,” says Skolski. As comfortable with scissors as she is with a makeup brush, Skolski draws her inspiration from such varied sources as fashion and art.

A veteran of numerous editorial and beauty shoots, as well as runway shows, Skolski has worked with a dizzying array of icons in both the fashion and entertainment industries. Everyone from Roberto Rabanne, John DeAmara, to Nicholas Kern. She has also had the notable distinction of having her work showcased in several feature films. Yet, as accomplished as she is, Skolski has an insatiable hunger to continue learning. When not in the salon, chances are you’ll find her attending a styling class or make-up seminar, all with the goal of working to make her clients look and feel their absolute best. “Every one of my clients is unique, and it’s my job to make them feel at ease when they step into my chair, and radiant when they step out”.
